Guitarist Joesf Glaude oscillates between the sounds of Jazz, Blues, Classical and New Age. Whether playing solo, duo or with his band he moves between strong composition and improvisation. His performance reflects his love of various instrumental genres and the guitar.
Joesf studied music at Christopher Newport College in Virginia with a focus on guitar and composition. While in college he performed with The Williamsburg Chamber Orchestra as primary guitar and mandolin. He also worked with numerous Jazz groups and as a soloist at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. More recently Joesf taught Classical and Jazz guitar at Oral Roberts University. He also developed the guitar curriculum.
Joesf has received numerous awards for Best Jazz Artist, Best Instrumental Artist, Best Composition and Song of the Year (Pastorale) from the Absolute Best of Tulsa. Joesf was included in the Tulsa World article on “Guitar Gods” while Oklahoma Magazine listed him in the “must see musicians”. Tulsa Lifestyle Magazine describes him as “...a musical experience you'll not soon forget.” Joesf was also mentioned for his skills as a Harp-Guitarist by John Doan in issue 68 of Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine.
Joesf has released 15 CD's and has recently begun a new project with Blues vocalist Nova Sharp.
